Katie is uniquely placed to work one-to-one with actors to unlock their greatest potential, equip them for auditions and coach them through to success. She has worked extensively as a director for over 15 years across the UK and internationally on a diverse range of productions including directing the National Theatre’s production of War Horse. During Katie’s decadeyears on the show, having auditioned hundreds and hundreds of actors, she has developed sure-fire tips to enhance audition technique and avoid common pitfalls. Katie has worked with theatre giants Marianne Elliot, Richard Eyre, Lesley Manville, Jeremy Irons. Harnessing the learnings and craft from these experiences she blends them with her own unique style as a theatre director and life coach. Katie’s ear is attuned to the individual, employing a holistic approach that is both playful and rigorous, exploring diverse audition techniques and skills, she supports, guides and coaches actors to find their authentic voice.
